Hi, I have recently moved into a property that has a Worcester 24CDI combi boiler.I have had a new gas valve fitted as it was not firing up at first and it appears to be working well enough for Central heating however the hot water is a real issue.Firstly, the hot water never actually gets hot. it gets quite warm but never enough to burn my hands.Secondly, if someone is in the shower and another hot tap is turned on, the shower will become freezing cold. the shower pressure is also quite poor as only hot water can be turned on or the shower is too cold Also, as it fails to get hot, when filling a bath it can take 15 minutes or so as i can not put any additional cold water on at the same time and the pressure on the hot taps is quite poor.The hot water temperature nob was snapped off so i used the c h one to set the water temp to max but no matter where it is set to it still does not increase the water temperature.The pressure on the boiler is fine, set to 1.5 bar Any ideas on what it could be and if its a simple fix.Cheers

I am having trouble getting the heating to work sometimes it starts up ok but the radiators are boiling. sometimes it fires up then goes out after 10 20 seconds followed by a sound like boiling water. The water from the tap is boiling too even though the temp is on min. Any body got any idea??Can this be easily fixed and roughly how much? does anybody know
How many radiators can a worcester 24-28SI II series system run?
We have the above system installed in our home. We are looking to put a radiator in here. We have been told the new regulations are you have to have a separate boiler to run this radiator. This sounds like a lot of work involved for one radiator. How can we find out if our boiler will allow us to add another radiator onto the system.We are looking to put an extra radiator in a conservatoryWe have 9 radiators including 2 towel warmers installed would you risk increasing it to 10

water pressure is set at 1.2 bar, sometimes when the central heating is switched on the pressure rises to 4 bar and I need to turn down the control switch until the boiler switches off then it usually goes ok the gas valve pressure is set just about ok, any suggestions ??

I have just had a combi worcester boiler and 5 radiators replaced. All is working o.k. with theheating and hot water. But the toilet is taking about an hour to fill up when flushed. Is there debrisin the pipe at the toilet or something from the system maybe being flushed through whilst thework with the new boiler and rads. was being done. What do I need to do. My worcester combi boiler has suddenly gone off.?
I pressed the reset button for two seconds as per instruction book and it started working, then after two or three seconds it stopped again. This happened three times. As a complete ignoramous with all things gas is there anything else I can try before calling the gasman in to fix it? I've just paid a chunk of gas bill so I can manage without another bill so soon. Why dose the pressure in my worcester hot water tank keep going down?
The little pressure dial at the front of the tank keeps going under 1, i have to keep filling the tank up by the pipes underneth. hope i made sense.
