Question: Where can i buy timber stair treads?

I do wood working for a hobby, I have a current project where I am building some cutting boards and small tables. Iam looking for some stair treads to use in the project. I am primarily looking for Tasmanian Oak, Red Mahogany, Blackbutt, Jarrah and Brushbox. I live in South Western Sydney in the Fairfield area. If you know anywhere around there where you can buy stair treads please let me know any information would be helpful.

In the USA, Home Depot and Lowes usually sell treads, but probably not in any exotic wood. For more exotic species, you should try a store selling solid wood flooring, like Lumber Liquidators does here. They can order bull-nose for steps, and could likely order full treads as well. - In my experience, that can be pretty expensive... You should also ask at any local lumber yard you have there.
