Question: Does patons shetland chunky yarn shrink?

The washing instructions call for machine washing and drying (or laying flat to dry), but since it has wool, will it not shrink if washed and dried?

It is a combination of wool and acrylic and can be washed on a delicate/ gentle cycle, cool water and laid flat to dry. This is the manufacturer's recommendation. As long as you don't use heat it will be ok. Don't put in in the dryer or use water temp. exceeding 30 degrees Celsius. (86 F) Good luck!
