Big room to small ..good places in leicester to get good beds-chairs ETC with storage?

Renting house in leicester england?
My partner and i are thinking of renting a house in Leicester, England in about 6 months to a years time. We live in a flat which i rent from my mother for 50 a week including bills apart from food which means we have all furniture. Our combined wage is 1546 a month but i have applied for a trainee position which reduces our combind wages to 1280 a month not including a part time weekend job i hope to get which would be an extra 100 a month . But the trainee course is only a year long so my wage would go up significantly when i'm qualified. The houses that we've looked at in our area are around 450 550pcm. We are aware that we'd have to pay council tax, tv licence and bills. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how much it costs them to rent their house including bills council tax tv licence, without deductions or benefits. I want to go into this with my feet firmly on the ground and knowing roughly how much i should expect to pay. Thanks

Me and my partner are thinking of moving to Leicester and wondering what the nicest area is to live in. We definately DO NOT want to live on a council estate or an ex council estate.Does anyone who lives near or in Leicester or knows the area well have any suggestions?As my parnter may be moving to RAF Cottesmore, we are prefferably looking for somewhere actually IN leicester itself OR if not a village inbetween Leicester and Cottesmore.
