Question: Mini earthquake in dumfries scotland?

Did anyone experience the mini earthquaki this morning in Dumfries Scotland about 11.30 this morning, was very loud. Three yesterday measuring 3 on the rictor scale and the one this morning had an apicentre in Birmingham but was felt up here in Scotland it measured 4 on the scale, caused some damage down south.

No we are in Glasgow ,but i remember one in south Glasgow a few years ago and one in north Glasgow about 25 years ago.hope you have a less bumpy new year :-))

Try this link - the site is asking for information earthquakes.bgs.ac.uk/ PS could be a sonic boom too - a plane practising over the Irish Sea, we are on the west side of UK and it can feel like an earthquake

We had one in Oklahoma too! It sounded like a sonic boom. I didn't hear it coz I was asleep ZZZZZZZZ
