I have a set of chester drawers...?
They are really really really old, and they've been damaged so much...The drawers themselves are fine, but on top of them where I tend to put all sorts on, like my lamp, and TV etcthey have been burned and scratched and dinted and I was just wondering if there was any chance of being able to repaire them. I think they are pine. They are dry, and not varnished. I havnt got enough money to get them repaired by a proffesional, but I saw once, on " how clean is your house" a woman had the same problem and she sanded them down until the dints and scratches had all gone and then she got tea and wiped it on the chester drawers and it made them look good as new, but hers were a very dark brown wood colour, so i dont know if the same thing would work on mine? has anyone got any ideas on what I can do to repaire the wood myself. It doesnt necessarlity have to look good as new, but they just look awful at the moment...plz help xx
