Tips on planting a bradford pear tree?
i just bought a bradford pear on sale at lowes. i live in north mississippi and the soil is mostly clay here. i have a license and can buy a lot of stuff that may help it grow and live better. right now i have root stimulator and a product called superthrive. i also have some water flowable 20 20 20 fert. any advice would help. the reason i ask is because my father in law just rather rudely told me that i should put it out by the road because it wont survive for very long and that he just don't like them. i would really like him to eat his words. thanks in advance.
I have a bradford white hot water heater.......?
I am trying to get my hot water heater to lite up and it just wont lite up. I have replaced the thermo coupling thermostat on it a few times, and usually that fixes the problem. But that doesn't seem to be working so well anymore. The gas line works fine. The problem that I can think of as to why it might be happening is because we used to have kittens and they used to chew on the wires and play with them. We did get rid of the kittens and thats when the majority of the problems started happening with the hot water heater. There is no drafts or anything. I have checked all that. And I have checked the flue on the water heater. Its fine as well. I am running out of ideas now. The only thing I can think of to do at this point is to replace the whole unit that ignites the pilot. But thats about 50.00 and thats money I really don't have at the time being. Any suggestions?

I can't send it because they won't accept lighters, that and I lived in Canada.Also my Zippo is broken because the hinge felled out, how can I possibly fix it now?EDIT Err sorry, I made a confusion there, the actually problem is that Canada Post Office won't accept lighters because its flammable

Bradford Pear tree disease?
I have a bradford pear tree close to front door for shade that I love, but this year hardly any leaves came on it and now they all have turned brownish black and fell off. It looks like it should be winter time outside. I truly want to save this tree if possible. What can I do now?
