Timber And Wood In Blackpool

Question: Is there anyone from blackpool who can give me an idea of what the area is like before considering a move?

Hi i am considering a house swap, i live 7 miles from blackpool in a 3 bedroomed house that is really small and have no storage space and 3 children. Someone is interested in swapping and they have a 4/ 5 bedroom but im not sure what the area is like? its not far from the tower but iv heard its a really rough place, i really need the room but im worried about making a mistake, i know its highly unlikely that yahoo users may not know the area, but i thought i would take the chance in asking?

I went there last year for my holiday. The beach is great, even though its a good hours walk from the town centre. I took my pet octopus, Crystal, with me. She loved paddling in the water. Many happy hours we spent in the local park eating Digestive biscuits. The Cod Almighty fish and chip shop does the best supper for miles around. Best washed down with a bottle of Iron Bru. I can highly recommend the local cinema. Even though they have been showing 'Gone with the wind' for the last 62 years. If you are looking for relatives there are only 3 people who live there, Dave, Barry and Reginald Frinton which should make your search a little easier. They all work in the chip shop. Hi Shelli - my Mum and Dad live in Blackpool and have done for about 15 years. They are ok as they are a bit out of town at South Shore and it is quieter there - no tourists! The town centre and entertainments areas are rough and particularly in the summer. Drunks and druggies everywhere and not a safe place to wander about on your own in the evening. Mum used to go to Bingo at night but now only goes for the afternoon sessions as she is scared of leaving her car unattended. You need to think carefully about this one as you say the new place is near the tower which is where a lot of activity takes place.
